Blizzard Games Now Available On GeForce Now

GeForce Now has expanded its lineup to include the first batch of games developed by Blizzard. This move follows the acquisition of Activision Blizzard by Microsoft. Part of the deal between Microsoft and UK regulators was allowing their games to be made available on more cloud gaming platforms.

What’s New in the Catalog?

Starting today, both Diablo IV and Overwatch 2 will be playable on GeForce Now. They are joining an already vast catalog of over 1800 games that can be played on Nvidia’s cloud gaming service.

Activision’s flagship games, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III and Call of Duty: Warzone, have already been available for some weeks as well.

What Might Come Next?

The community is eager to see if more Blizzard classics like World of Warcraft (WoW), Starcraft II, and Warcraft will soon make their way to GeForce Now as well. However, integrating WoW might pose a special challenge, as the game needs addons to be played competitively – which probably won’t be possible on GFN.

Conclusion

The availability of Blizzard games on GeForce Now is an exciting development for cloud gaming fans. As a cloudbase user, you will always be up to date with the latest changes. And by creating a free account, you can even sign up for free email notices when your favorite games become available on GeForce Now or other cloud gaming services.
